I have recently joined the team at Moja Tuu . having worked in many different hotels on the island over the years, I have never experienced working with an International hotel management company and what impresses me that everything works according to systems and procedures which is kind of new to me. Recently we had a training with Mr. Steve from Aleph about Mental Health Awareness which has helped me to understand my emotions and my reactions in and outside of work
I am working already long time at Hakuna Majiwe and I see very big changes in how now we are operating compared to before. I am working at Hakuna Majiwe for 3 years and when the Corona came and we had to close the hotel I was very scared that I would lose my job, I am very thankful that I was able to stay and I am very happy that we start having guests again
I have been working in Ramada Addis for the last two yeas and half. Our hotel was closed for two months due to covid-19 but after that we have received a training from Aleph Hospitality. Specially the training that was called Mental Health given by Mr. Steve was great, which shows different parameters to consider at this difficult time I have been working in Ramada Addis since opening.Getting such an excellent and enhancing training is a great privilege for the team members. This not only adds to our knowledge but also can serve as a motivating factor to focus on our job.
Onboarding training by Mr. Steve during preopening was a great introduction to the Aleph hospitality management. It prepared us to enter into the market with a clear mindset to stear our teams drive towards a common goal. The modules such as coaching and effective communication are key topics that I carried home from this training.Looking forward to more post Covid round table brainstorming sessions and experiences.
